A recent conversation with a CEO revealed and interesting insight. He said, "We have an accountant, a lawyer and human resource person. It seems to me we should have someone readily available to help with our communication issues too."

CEOs, Presidents and Managers and Supervisors don't always have a trusted confidant and trainer with whom they can discuss the issues confronting their organization.. A recent survey found 65% of people in management positions feel they lack  leadership and business communication skills. Many of them had little management training before they were pushed into their positions and forced to learn via "on-the-job-training."

As the world becomes more technology driven, the issues surrounding business communication continue to escalate. We have five generations of people with different values and beliefs trying to work together within the same organization, as well.

We are inundated with information, and leaders have little time to learn tools to help them cope with information overload. Additionally, leaders are expected to manage a team that is already facing its' own communication issues.
